Welcome to the Midland Koi Association

The MKA was founded in 1974 to provide friendly source
of information, advice and education to help our members
fully enjoy all facets of Koi Carp Breeding, Keeping & Showing.

We hope you enjoy our new web site which you are welcome to
browse and take a good look around and if you are interested in
joining our association, or if you need any help, please do not
hesitate to contact us.

The association has a wealth of knowledge and if you require
assistance on Koi health, pond maintenance, repair or a new
pond there will be no shortage of practical advice !
Our members enjoy ponds of all types, from small private
gardens to some of the most interesting designs found
anywhere in the country.

The hobby has seen a major increase in popularity in recent
years due to the enjoyment and serenity found in the beauty
of a Koi pond and a landscaped garden, providing an instant
getaway from our daily routine and an opportunity to relax
and enjoy life.
 
   
The association meets on the second Tuesday of each month from October through to April
with the summer month's meetings held at member's garden enjoying conversation, a
barbeque and a drink. Most summer meetings we have guest speakers and away visits to
other Koi Clubs where we enjoy seeing fantastic Koi, serene ponds and beautiful gardens.
