2010 Grow & Show Competition

We have been very fortunate this year in obtaining stock for our Grow and Show
competition. At first it looked like there were no koi available, but a few days before
Malcolm was due to return from Japan, Torazo contacted him to say he had just
finished sorting his tategoi for growing on and that he had 30 jumbo tateshita
available sized at between 25-35cm.

Malcolm has purchased 24 koi from which we have picked 16 Grow & Show
koi, so higher quality and much larger koi than last year’s Grow and Show fish.
Last year, all our Grow & Show koi were sent over in one box. But this year,
because of the larger size they are being sent over in three boxes.

Even though they were more expensive than last year’s stock the purchase price
will remain at the same as last year. Torazo, as most of you are aware, is famed
for his Sanke koi, so this is a great opportunity to purchase a quality Koi
at a very good price.

The koi were collected and paid for on Saturday 15th May by Wayne Eady and
others and have gone through a thorough quarantine process.
